ASTM A860 WPHY60 is a carbon based alloy which has high strength properties. The main components of the WPHY60 material are nickel, chromium, molybdenum, manganese and copper. Besides these elements, this carbon based alloy contains trace amounts of metals like vanadium, titanium, niobium, sulphur, silicon and phosphorus. The A860 WPHY 60 fittings have highly resistance to disintegration. ASTM A860 WPHY 60 Carbon Steel Pipe Fittings in Wrought High Yield Steel are usually used at High-pressure applications. WPHY60 refers to the high yield strength of the fittings. ASTM A860 WPHY60 Pipe Fittings are also known for high tensile strength and corrosion resistance. The ASTM A860 WPHY60 fittings' properties include great strength, a high ductile quality, great sturdiness and durability. The ASTM A860 WPHY60 fittings' surface can be treated by coating it with either anti-corrosion dark oil or straightforward oil. The surface can also be treated by hot galvanization. Hot galvanization of the WPHY60 fittings can strengthen their resistance to erosion.
