Flanges are used to connect 2 pipes or tubes. They are made up of different materials depending upon the end use. Incoloy 825 Flanges are one such type of flanges that have outstanding resistance to oxidizing as well as reducing acids. They are fabricated to improve their resistance to corrosion and are clean to weld.
The B564 UNS N08825 Weld Neck Flange is normally referred to as the "high hub" flange. It is designed to transfer stresses to the pipe, thereby reducing high stress concentrations at the base of the flange.
