ASTM A270 is a specification for sanitary grade stainless steel pipes, suitable for seamless and welded austenitic stainless steel pipes, designed specifically for industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, dairy products, etc. that require high cleanliness. Molding process: 

• Seamless pipe: mainly made through hot rolling or cold drawing processes, ensuring smooth inner walls.
• Welded pipes: TIG welding or laser welding are mainly used, and solution treatment (1050-1150 ° C rapid cooling) is required after welding to eliminate welding stress.

Surface treatment:

• Acid pickling passivation: Remove the oxide layer and form a passivation film.
• Electrolytic polishing (EP): improves surface smoothness (Ra ≤ 0.5 μ m), reduces microbial adhesion, and meets hygiene requirements.
