Overview
Alloy 2507, is known as a super duplex stainless steel alloy for several reasons. Firstly, ASTM A790 UNS S32750 Seamless Tube is chemically designed to withstand highly corrosive environments, particularly those prone to pitting or decay by crevice corrosion. Secondly, due to its mixture of microstructural phases, UNS S32750 Seamless Tube has the properties of austenitic as well as ferritic-like stainless steels, making this variety a stronger and better class of steel.
