ASTM B366 WPHC276 (UNS N10276) Nickel Alloy Eccentric Reducer is a factory-made, wrought pipe fitting manufactured to ASTM B366 specifications. It is produced from a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy (commonly known as Hastelloy C276). The advantages-- 1. Excellent corrosion resistance in harsh environments (e.g., sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, chlorine). 2. Resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking. 3. Performs well in high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.
The fitting features an eccentric (offset) conical design, which reduces the pipe bore from a larger diameter to a smaller diameter while maintaining a continuous flat top or bottom alignment. It is delivered in the solution-annealed and rapidly quenched condition to retain maximum ductility and corrosion resistance, free from harmful intermetallic precipitates.
