ASTM B564 is a material standard developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials. It specifies the requirements for the chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat treatment, testing methods, and dimensional tolerances of nickel alloy forgings (including flanges, fittings, valve parts, etc.). N06625 is the UNS designation, referring to a specific nickel based high-temperature alloy. Its more well-known commercial name is Inconel 625.

ASTM B564 N06625 nickel alloy steel forged flange is often used to manufacture flange for harsh operating environments, mainly due to its excellent comprehensive performance:


1.Excellent corrosion resistance:

  • Resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion: ASTM B564 N06625 nickel alloy steel flange exhibits excellent performance in chloride containing environments such as seawater, salt spray, and chemical treatment media, thanks to its high molybdenum content.
  • Oxidation and carburizing resistance: ASTM B564 N06625 nickel alloy steel flange has good stability in high temperature air and carbon containing environments.
  • Resistant to various acids and salts: ASTM B564 N06625 nickel alloy steel flange has good resistance to nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid (at moderate concentrations and temperatures), organic acids, and various salt solutions (such as chlorides and sulfates).
