EN10217-7 1.4301 Stainless Steel Pipe With Al Fins Extruded Fin Tube For HVAC&R

This product is a high-efficiency Bimetallic Finned Tube, specifically designed for heat transfer applications. It consists of a core pipe manufactured according to the European standard EN 10217-7(ASTM A312), made from austenitic stainless steel grade 1.4301 (equivalent to AISI 304). A finned surface is permanently bonded to this core pipe through an extrusion process.

The fundamental principle of this design is to leverage the superior properties of both metals:

  • The 1.4301 stainless steel inner pipe provides excellent corrosion resistance, high pressure containment, and strength, making it ideal for conveying media like water, steam, or various chemicals.

  • The external aluminum fins dramatically increase the external surface area of the tube. Aluminum's high thermal conductivity facilitates highly efficient heat transfer between the fluid inside the tube and the air (or gas) flowing across the finned exterior.
