ASTM A213 T5 Alloy Steel Seamless Tube , Heat Exchanger Tube For Oil And Gas Industry

 

ASTM A213 T5 is a standard specification grade for seamless ferritic alloy steel tubes intended for high-temperature service. These seamless alloy steel tubes are manufactured via a seamless process (hot-finished or cold-drawn) and are primarily used in pressure-containing applications. ASTM A213 T5 (UNS K41545) features a 5% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum alloy composition, which differentiates it from lower-grade T11/T12 tubes with superior high-temperature oxidation resistance, creep strength, and thermal stability. Produced via seamless hot finishing or cold drawing processes, the tube eliminates welded seams, ensuring uniform structural integrity, pressure tightness, and resistance to high-temperature fatigue and corrosion. It is widely recognized as a critical material for medium-to-high temperature and high-pressure thermal pipeline systems operating at 500–600°C.
