Our stainless steel thermal units are manufactured to comply with TEMA (Types E, F, G, H, J, K, X), ASME Section VIII Div 1, and API 660 standards:

  • Fixed Tubesheet Heat Exchanger (TEMA E/F): Rigid design where both tubesheets are welded directly to the shell. Ideal for low thermal-expansion applications or process streams operating under low temperature differentials.
  • Removable U Tube Bundle Exchanger (TEMA U): Features a bent u tube bundle anchored to a single tubesheet, allowing thermal expansion without thermal stress on the shell-to-tubesheet joint.
  • Floating Head Heat Exchanger (TEMA S/T): Features one stationary tubesheet and one floating tubesheet, permitting full bundle withdrawal for internal mechanical cleaning and thermal shock mitigation.

  3. Corrosion & Velocity Control: Excessively high tube-side fluid velocities induce erosion-corrosion on stainless steel tube inlets. Installing sacrificial impingement plates under shell inlet nozzles protects the outer tube bundle rows from liquid droplet impact
