What is ASTM A312 TP 304 SMLS Pipe?
TP304 stainless steel is a common seamless steel pipe material, this kind of steel pipe has excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature performance, which is widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power and other fields.
The chemical composition of TP304 stainless steel mainly includes iron, chromium, nickel and other elements, of which the chromium content is generally between 18% and 20%, and the nickel content is between 8% and 11%. The mechanical properties of this stainless steel are related to the purity and thickness of the steel, generally the tensile strength is between 400MPa and 650MPa, the yield strength is between 200MPa and 400MPa, and the elongation is between 30% and 60%.
