ASTM A269 TP304 Bright Annealed Welded Stainless Steel Tubing is manufactured from austenitic stainless steel strip using precision automatic welding followed by bright annealing in a controlled atmosphere. The process produces a clean, smooth and oxide-free surface while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance and dimensional accuracy.
Compared with conventional pickled tubing, bright annealed tubing offers improved surface cleanliness and appearance, making it suitable for instrumentation systems, analytical equipment, hydraulic lines, pneumatic circuits and general industrial fluid handling. ASTM A269 covers welded and seamless austenitic stainless steel tubing for general corrosion-resisting and low- or high-temperature service.
