Overview

SA213 T11 (equivalent to 13CrMo4‑5) is a classic 1.25Cr‑0.5Mo ferritic alloy steel seamless tube, designed for medium‑high temperature and pressure service in boilers, superheaters, heat exchangers and industrial piping. It offers stable creep strength, good thermal fatigue resistance and oxidation resistance under long‑term high‑temperature conditions up to approximately 550°C.

Available in hot‑rolled or cold‑finished execution, cold finishing delivers tighter dimensional accuracy, smoother surface finish and improved mechanical properties, while hot rolling provides cost efficiency for thicker‑wall and larger‑diameter applications.

The material features excellent weldability with proper preheating and post‑weld heat treatment. Manufactured in compliance with ASTM SA213 and EN 10216‑2 standards, it undergoes mandatory hydrostatic and non‑destructive testing. Widely used in power plants, petrochemical and refinery systems, it balances reliable performance and cost‑effectiveness for medium‑high temperature steam and process fluid services.
