ASME SA105 SA105N carbon steel flanges are a general-purpose pipe fitting material that has undergone normalizing treatment, offers stable and reliable performance, and is easy to weld and process. It is the "standard answer" for operating in ambient to medium temperatures (-29°C ~ 425°C) and non-corrosive media conditions, and its excellent cost-effectiveness and wide applicability have made it a cornerstone of global industrial piping systems.

Differences between carbon steel A105 and A105N
1. There is no difference in material composition between A105 and A105N in the ASTM A105/A105M standard, but it is specified in the standard that when there are auxiliary requirements for heat treatment in the order, letters are added after A105 to distinguish. The letters are represented as: A-annealing, N-normalizing, NT normalizing plus tempering, QT quenching plus tempering.
2. A105 in ASTM A105/A105M is not very different from A105M. Don't think that there is a change in the material. In fact, the unit of supply is different. Those without M are supplied in Imperial units, while those with M are supplied in metric units. The same is true for other standards such as ASTM A193/A193M, A351/A351M, etc.
