P22 is comprised predominantly of chromium (2.25%) and molybdenum (1%), which enhances its strength and resistance to high temperatures and pressures. This material has good properties: Good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures. Excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion, making it suitable for harsh environments. High tensile and yield strength, which allows it to withstand demanding applications.

There are several effective treatments to enhance corrosion resistance and overall durability:

• Black Paint: This is often used for aesthetic purposes and can provide a basic level of protection against minor corrosion. The paint forms a barrier against moisture and contaminants. 

• Anti-Corrosion Oil: This type of treatment involves applying a specialized oil that penetrates the metal surface to provide long-term protection against rust. It's especially useful for pipes that will be stored for longer periods before use. 

• Galvanized Surface: Galvanization involves coating the steel with a layer of zinc, which protects the underlying metal from rust. This method is highly effective for outdoor applications or environments with high humidity.

Manufacturing Process:

Seamless Pipe Production: The manufacturing process involves heating a solid round billet and then piercing it to form a hollow tube. It is then elongated through mandrel mills, which refine it to the desired dimensions sans any seams, providing superior strength.
