ASTM B637 is a standard specification for precipitation-hardening nickel alloy bars, forgings, and blanks used in high-temperature services.

 

UNS N07718, Inconel 718, is the core material of this standard and has wide applications. In China, it is known as GH4169. It is mainly composed of chromium and nickel, with nickel accounting for 50-55% and chromium for 17-21%. Its most significant characteristic is its high-temperature resistance.
