The medical stainless steel needle tube is a high-precision, hollow tubular component, commonly referred to as a "cannula," which forms the core of a hypodermic needle. It is specifically designed for medical injections, blood sampling, and other percutaneous procedures. The Injection needle generally has a lancet bevel needle tip. A lancet bevel (often a "tri-bevel" design) features a primary sharp cutting bevel with two secondary bevels. Regular Sizes:

  1. Outer Diameter (OD): Ranges from as fine as 34G (approx. 0.18 mm) for insulin pens and intradermal injections, to larger sizes like 10G (approx. 3.4 mm) for drawing blood or delivering viscous fluids.
  2. Inner Diameter (ID): It determines the flow rate of the medication.
  3. Wall Thickness: Typically ranges from 0.10 mm to 0.25 mm, depending on the gauge. Thinner walls allow for a larger inner diameter (higher flow rate) for a given outer needle size.
  4. Length: Cannula lengths are highly variable, from short 6 mm lengths for intradermal use to 100 mm or more for specific surgical or biopsy applications. Standard injection needles are commonly between 12 mm (1/2") and 38 mm (1.1/2").
