ASME SA249 TP304 Bright Annealed Welded Tube is a austenitic stainless steel tube intended for use in heat exchangers, condensers, and similar heat transfer apparatus. It is manufactured from TP304 grade material, welded longitudinally, and then subjected to a final heat treatment process known as "Bright Annealing" in a controlled atmosphere furnace. This stainless steel welded tube is a high-quality welded tube designed for applications demanding excellent corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties, and a superior surface finish. The "Bright Annealing" process is key to its performance. After welding, the tube passes through a furnace with a controlled atmosphere (typically hydrogen, nitrogen, or a vacuum) at temperatures exceeding 1900°F (1040°C).
