ASTM A376/ASME SA376 is the standard specification for seamless austenitic steel pipe intended for high-temperature central station service, originally developed for piping in the electric-power generating thermal plants. TP347H is one of the designated H‑grades under this specification, specifically engineered for long‑term creep service in boilers and pressure vessels above 550°C (1022°F).
 
ASTM A376 TP347H seamless tube is the “go‑to” niobium‑stabilized stainless steel solution for creep‑controlled designs above 550°C, where conventional unstabilized grades (304H, 316H) risk sensitization and where higher carbon ensures coarser grain for superior creep resistance.
