ASTM A269 TP316L Stainless Steel Seamless Coil Tube is a high-precision, cold-drawn seamless austenitic stainless steel coiled tube manufactured in strict accordance with the ASTM A269 standard, which are widely used for instrumentation, fluid transmission and industrial piping systems. TP316L is the low-carbon version of 316 stainless steel (UNS S31603), featuring ultra-low carbon content to eliminate intergranular corrosion after welding and heat treatment. Different from straight tubes, coil tubes are produced in continuous coiled forms, supporting unlimited customized cutting lengths, with excellent flexibility, bendability and pressure resistance. The seamless manufacturing process completely eliminates weld seam defects, ensuring uniform wall thickness, high pressure bearing capacity and superior structural stability. This stainless steel seamless coiled tube is mainly divided into bright annealed (BA) and pickled annealed(AP) surface types, and is the preferred material for precision fluid control, chemical engineering, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and aerospace pipeline systems.

Main Surface Finish Types & Characteristics:
(1)Bright Annealed (BA) Surface
Process: After cold drawing, vacuum bright annealing treatment under oxygen-free environment.
Features: Mirror-bright surface, smooth and flat, no oxide layer, no scaling, low surface roughness. The inner wall is ultra-clean without residual oil and oxide impurities, suitable for high-purity fluid transmission systems.
(2)Pickled & Annealed (AP) Surface
Process: Continuous annealing followed by acid pickling and passivation treatment.
Features: Uniform silver-gray matte surface, removed surface stress and oxide layer, enhanced corrosion resistance. Lower cost than BA finish, suitable for general industrial corrosive environments with no strict surface brightness requirements.
