ASTM A268 TP430 seamless ferritic stainless steel tubes are manufactured in accordance with the ASTM A268/A268M-24 standard, which governs ferritic and martensitic stainless steel tube for general corrosion-resistant and high-temperature service. TP430 is a straight-chromium ferritic stainless steel grade (UNS S43000) with no nickel addition, featuring excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance, good formability, superior thermal conductivity and ferromagnetic properties. Different from austenitic 304/316 stainless steel, TP430 relies solely on 16.0-18.0% chromium for corrosion protection, making it a cost-effective alternative for mild corrosive environments. The seamless manufacturing process eliminates weld seams, ensuring uniform wall thickness, higher structural integrity, better pressure resistance and superior corrosion consistency compared with welded tubes.
