ASTM B564 UNS N10276 Slip-On Raised Face Flange is a forged nickel-alloy (Hastelloy C276) pipe-connecting component, designed to slide over the pipe end and be fillet-welded in place, featuring a raised-face sealing surface, and specified for extreme corrosive services involving wet chlorides, reducing acids, and high temperatures where standard stainless steels are inadequate.

Engineers specify this material for its unmatched corrosion resistance in extremely aggressive environments. Its key capabilities include: Outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion cracking (SCC) – far superior to 316L, 904L, or Inconel 625 in many reducing acids. Resistance to wet chlorine gas, hypochlorites, chlorine dioxide, and oxidizing chlorides (which would rapidly destroy stainless steels).
