This specification covers minimum wall thickness cold drawn low carbon seamless steel tubes for tubular heat exchangers, condensers and similar heat transfer equipment.

 

As ASTM A179 U-tubes they are made of seamless cold drawn low carbon steel tubes. Made by seamless process and cold drawn. With good high temperature resistance, they are suitable for steel tubes for tubular heat exchangers, condensers and similar heat transfer equipment. Used in heat exchangers and boilers. These pipes are suitable for oil and gas plants, chemical and petrochemical plants, refineries, power plants and renewable energy plants.

 

Thermal analysis and product analysis should be carried out to ensure that the steel meets the chemical composition requirements such as carbon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur. The steel should also be hardness tested, flattened, flared, flanging and hydrostatic pressure tested.

For tubular heat exchangers,condensers,and similar heat transfer services.

Application

 

 

 

Power plant condenser: cooling water circulates inside the tube, steam condenses outside the tube

 

Low-pressure feedwater heater: recover waste heat and improve thermal efficiency (medium: clean water/low-pressure steam).

 

Chiller evaporator: refrigerant evaporates outside the tube, cold water circulates inside the U-tube.

 

Distillation tower reboiler: light hydrocarbons (such as propane, butane) vaporize in the bend section (temperature ≤200°C).

 

Solvent recovery heat exchanger: heat recovery system for non-corrosive organic solvents.

 

Economizer pipeline: preheat boiler inlet water (flue gas side temperature ≤400°C).

 

Low-pressure steam recovery pipe: condensation and reuse of waste heat steam.
