1. Material Overview

 

C44300 (Admiralty Brass) is a copper-zinc alloy with enhanced corrosion resistance, primarily used in heat exchangers, condensers, and marine applications.

  • Composition:

    • Cu (Copper): 70–73%

    • Zn (Zinc): Remaining balance

    • Sn (Tin): 0.9–1.2% (added to improve corrosion resistance)

    • As (Arsenic): 0.02–0.06% (to inhibit dezincification)
