Seamless tubes made from copper-nickel alloy UNS C71500 (CuNi90/10), composed of approximately 90% Copper (Cu) and 10% Nickel (Ni), often with small additions of Iron (Fe) and Manganese (Mn) for enhanced properties. as below:

 

 

1>. Exceptional Corrosion Resistance: Highly resistant to seawater, brackish water, brine, steam condensate, and various chemicals (acids, alkalis). Resists stress corrosion cracking, erosion-corrosion, and impingement attack.

2>. Biofouling Resistance: Naturally inhibits marine organism growth (barnacles, mussels, algae) better than many other alloys.

3>. Good Fabricability & Weldability: Can be formed, bent, brazed, soldered, and welded (using matching filler metals) relatively easily.

4>. Moderate Strength & Toughness: Higher strength and better ductility than pure copper or brass. Good fatigue strength.

5>. Thermal Conductivity: Lower than pure copper but significantly higher than carbon/stainless steels (beneficial for heat exchangers).

6>. Thermal Expansion: Coefficient similar to carbon steel, minimizing thermal stress issues when joined.
