The stainless steel 316L sanitary tube refers to a high-precision, corrosion-resistant, seamless tube, in accordance with the ASTM A270 standard for sanitary applications. Stainless steel grade 316L, with its added Molybdenum(2-3%), provides superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion compared to standard 304 stainless steel. The Bright Annealed (BA) finish is extremely smooth, limiting bacterial adhesion and facilitating easy cleaning and sterilization (CIP - Clean-in-Place). Different Surface Finishes:

• Mechanically Polished (MP): After annealing, the tube is polished mechanically to achieve an even smoother finish.
• Electropolished (EP): An electrochemical process that removes a thin layer of surface material, smoothing peaks and enhancing the passive oxide layer. This provides the best cleanability and corrosion release properties.
