ASTM B283 Copper Alloy C70620 (UNS C70620) is a high-performance copper-nickel alloy forging, strictly compliant with ASTM B283 / ASME SB283 standard. It is a 90% copper-10% nickel alloy (commonly known as cupronickel) with added iron elements, featuring excellent corrosion resistance (especially to seawater and chloride ions), good weldability, thermal conductivity and mechanical strength. As a hot-pressed die forging product, it is specially designed for welded applications exposed to seawater, with outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, and can inhibit marine biological adhesion.
