The triple bevel (or three-facet) design is a significant advancement over standard single or double bevel needles.

Primary Bevel: The longest bevel, forming the main cutting surface and the opening (lumen) of the needle.

Secondary Bevels (Two): Smaller, angled facets ground on either side of the primary bevel. These eliminate the "heel" and "barb" typically found on double-bevel needles.
