ASTM B366 HASTELLOY C22 (UNS N06022 / W. Nr. 2.4602) Forged 180° Short Radius Return Bend is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy butt-welding pipe fitting manufactured in accordance with ASTM B366 / ASME SB366 standard. Fabricated from Ni-Cr-Mo-W solid-solution strengthened nickel alloy (UNS N06022) through forging forming and solution annealing heat treatment,it is classified as a 180° Short Radius (SR) Return Bend, with centerline bending radius customizable from 1D to 10D of nominal pipe size, standard configurations being R = 1D or 1.5D.
The fitting provides outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, making it especially suitable for harsh chemical environments. Like shell-and-tube heat exchanger U-tube bundles, fired heater coils, and highly corrosive media transmission lines.
