27G Stainless Steel 304 Medical Dental Irrigation Needle Tube , Half-cut Notched Tip
The Medical Stainless Steel Dental Irrigation Needle Tube (Half-cut Notched Tip) is a small-bore thin-walled hollow metal tube specially manufactured for dental and endodontic irrigation. It is fabricated from medical-grade 304 stainless steel, featuring a customized half-cut notched blunt tip structure. Different from conventional sharp dental needles, this tube adopts a non-invasive blunt tip design with partial notch cutting on the tube end, which enables stable, uniform and splash-free outflow of irrigation solutions. It is a core auxiliary medical consumable widely used for root canal cleaning, periodontal flushing, oral wound irrigation and dental surgical debridement, complying with ISO9626 medical needle tube standards and ISO13485 medical device quality management system certification requirements.
Medical-grade 304 stainless steel (AISI 304, 1.4301, SUS304) is the raw material for high-standard dental irrigation needle tubes, which is strictly distinguished from industrial-grade 304 steel. This material has ultra-low impurity content, excellent biocompatibility, corrosion resistance and high-temperature sterilization resistance. The half-cut notched tip is formed by precision cutting and deburring, with smooth notch edges that will not scratch oral soft tissues, root canal walls or periodontal membranes. The whole tube body supports repeated autoclave sterilization without deformation, rusting or performance attenuation, meeting disposable and reusable clinical use standards.

Main Types of Dental Irrigation Needle Tips:
(1)Half-cut Notched Tip
The end of the needle tube is cut with a 1/2 arc notch, with a flat and smooth blunt end. The irrigation liquid flows out stably through the half-moon notch. It features uniform water output, no splash, strong flushing coverage, and can effectively clean root canal lateral walls and residual debris. The blunt tip avoids piercing periapical tissues, with high clinical safety, suitable for most routine root canal therapy and periodontal irrigation.
(2)Single-side Vented Tip
Closed straight blunt end with a single lateral vent hole. The liquid is sprayed radially from the side hole, avoiding direct impact on the root canal apex. It is mainly used for deep root canal fine cleaning, reducing apical irritation and preventing irrigation liquid from penetrating into periapical tissues.
(3)Double-side Vented Tip
Symmetrical double side holes on the tube end with closed top end. Bidirectional radial liquid output forms a 360° surrounding flushing effect, which thoroughly cleans dead corners of root canal walls. It is suitable for complex curved root canals and severe infected root canal debridement.
(4)Full Open Straight Tip
Straight through open end with no notch or side hole. Fast liquid outflow and large flow rate, suitable for preliminary large-scale flushing of oral wounds and periodontal pockets, with simple structure and low cost.
(5)Closed End Multi-hole Tip
Fully closed top end with 3–4 uniform lateral small holes. Dispersed liquid output, soft flushing force, suitable for delicate irrigation of shallow periodontal pockets and postoperative oral cleaning.
Main Application Areas:
- Endodontics: Root canal irrigation, removal of pulp residues, bacteria and dentin debris, auxiliary root canal disinfection
- Periodontics: Periodontal pocket flushing, cleaning of dental plaque and tartar residues, postoperative anti-inflammatory irrigation
- Oral Surgery: Debridement and irrigation of oral soft tissue wounds, alveolar fossa cleaning after tooth extraction
- Prosthodontics & Orthodontics: Cleaning of dental gap residues, flushing of adhesive residues after bracket removal
- Pediatric Dentistry: Gentle irrigation of children's dental caries cavities, safe and non-invasive cleaning
- Dental Implant Surgery: Preoperative and intraoperative irrigation of implant cavities to ensure sterile surgical environment
