STAINLESS STEEL BUTT WELD FITTING A815 S32750 90° LR ELBOW TEE CAP REDUCER
A815 S32750 is super duplex stainless steel 2507. Its main advantages are superior chloride pitting & stress corrosion resistance and higher strength compared with 316L and S31803 duplex. These butt weld fittings (90° LR elbow, tee, cap, reducer) follow ASME B16.9. They are commonly used in seawater, produced water, desalination, FGD and oil & gas piping with high chloride content. The LR elbow features low pressure loss and lower erosion risk.
Advantages of A815 S32750 fitting,
1. Excellent corrosion resistance S32750 (2507 super duplex) has high PREN ≥40. It resists chloride pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking far better than 316L, 317L and standard duplex S31803. Suitable for seawater, brine, sour water, chloride-containing process fluid.
2. High mechanical strength Yield strength is roughly twice that of austenitic stainless steel (304/316L). It allows thinner wall design, saves weight and cost for high-pressure piping. Good toughness at moderate low temperature.
3. Good resistance to erosion-corrosion & fatigue Dual-phase microstructure (austenite + ferrite) provides better anti-erosion performance than 316L, good for high flow velocity service.
4. Weldability & fabrication Supports butt welding. Manufactured to ASTM A815, matching ASME B36.19 pipe and ASME B16.9 fitting dimensions. Easy to integrate into standard BW piping systems.
5. LR (Long Radius 1.5D) elbow benefit Low flow turbulence, low pressure drop, less local erosion at bend, preferred for continuous process piping.
