The ASTM A182 F53 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Weld Neck Raised Face Flange is a forged or rolled stainless steel pipe flange made to ASTM A182/A182M, Grade F53, which corresponds to UNS S32750 (2507) super duplex stainless steel. It is a weld neck flange with a tapered hub and a butt-weld end for connection to pipe by a circumferential butt weld, and it has a raised face (RF) gasket seating surface on the flange face. The “weld neck” design provides a smooth transition from flange hub to pipe, reducing stress concentration. This WNRF flange is designed for critical, high-pressure, corrosive piping systems where leak tightness, fatigue resistance, and corrosion resistance are mandatory.
