HFW Fin tube has many types: Serrated Fin Tube , Flat Fin Tube, Studded Fin Tube .

 

HFW Fin Tube is one of the most widely used spiral finned tubes, and now are widely used in waste heat recovery in electric power, metallurgy, cement industries, and petrochemical industries.  It use the skin effect and proximity effect of high-frequency current to heat the outer surface of the steel strip and steel pipe while the steel strip is wound around the steel pipe until it is in a plastic state or melted.

 

This type fin tube can improving heat transfer efficiency much more than bare tube. This high-frequency welding is actually a solid-phase welding.Due to the tight welding of the fins to the base pipe / tube, these finned tubes are often used in vibrating conditions.
