ASTM A312 TP304 is a classic  austenitic stainless steel seamless pipe, featuring high corrosion resistance, stable mechanical properties and cost-effectiveness. With seamless forming, it suits -196℃ to 650℃ working conditions, applies to fluid transport and structural support, and complies with ASTM A312 and ASME B36.10M/19M standards.

Corrosion Resistance

 Relying on the chromium-nickel alloy passive film, it has excellent basic corrosion resistance, capable of resisting corrosion by atmosphere, fresh water, and weak acid-base media. It contains no heavy metal precipitation and meets food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade requirements. For high chloride ion medium scenarios, the TP316 series is recommended.

Sensitization can be eliminated after solution treatment, and no intergranular corrosion cracks are found in standard tests, ensuring strong corrosion resistance stability.

Processing and Welding Performance
  • Cold Working Performance: The austenitic structure imparts good cold bending and stamping performance, and the performance can be restored by solution treatment after processing.
  • Welding Performance: Suitable for conventional welding processes such as TIG and MIG welding. The post-welding performance meets standards, and passivation treatment can be performed for harsh working conditions.
  • Surface Treatment: Supports pickling, sandblasting, polishing and other processes to meet the cleanliness and appearance requirements of different scenarios.
