Product Introduction


Our G-Type Embedded Fin Tubes (also known as Grooved Embedded Finned Tubes) are high-performance heat transfer components designed for demanding industrial applications. Manufactured by embedding aluminum fins into precisely machined grooves on the carbon steel base tube, these tubes provide an exceptionally strong mechanical bond, excellent heat transfer efficiency, and reliable performance at high temperatures up to 400°C.


This product fully complies with GOST 550-2020 for the base tube (Steel 20) and uses premium AL1060 aluminum for the fins, making it an ideal choice for air-cooled heat exchangers, waste heat recovery systems, and other critical thermal equipment.

Fin Tube Structure & Manufacturing Process


The G-Type Embedded Fin Tube features a unique embedded structure:


  • Base Tube: Seamless or welded carbon steel pipe (Steel 20) with helical grooves machined on the outer surface (groove depth approx. 0.4mm).


  • Fins: Aluminum strip (AL1060) is tension-wound and mechanically embedded into the grooves.


  • Embedding Process: The fin base is locked firmly by rolling and backfilling the groove with the base tube material, creating a strong metallurgical and mechanical bond without additional welding or adhesives.


This process ensures the fins remain securely attached even under thermal cycling, vibration, and high-temperature conditions.
