Product Overview

ASTM A106 Gr.B Embedded Finned Tubes with CU-T2 copper fins are engineered for high-efficiency air-cooled heat exchangers and industrial cooling systems requiring superior thermal conductivity and long-term operational reliability. The embedded fin manufacturing process mechanically inserts and locks the copper fin strip into a precisely machined groove on the carbon steel tube surface, creating a strong metallurgical-like bond that ensures excellent heat transfer performance and resistance to fin loosening under thermal cycling.

Manufacturing Process

Embedded finned tubes are produced by machining a continuous helical groove into the external surface of the ASTM A106 Gr.B tube. A CU-T2 copper fin strip is then mechanically wound and tightly embedded into the groove. The base tube material is displaced around the fin root to securely lock the fin in place.

This manufacturing method provides:
