Product Overview

ASME SA182 F316 Stainless Steel Sight Glass Frame Flange is a forged and machined stainless steel component designed for sight glass assemblies, viewing ports and visual inspection equipment used in industrial process systems.

Manufactured from F316 austenitic stainless steel, the frame flange can be supplied with a central viewing opening, bolt holes, threaded holes, sealing surfaces and other machined features according to the customer's drawing.

F316 Stainless Steel Material

F316 is an austenitic stainless steel grade containing chromium, nickel and molybdenum.

The nominal alloy composition provides the material characteristics required for a wide range of industrial equipment applications. F316 is commonly specified for process equipment, piping components, valves, flanges and other fabricated or forged parts.

For products manufactured to ASME SA182 F316, chemical composition, mechanical properties and heat-treatment requirements shall comply with the applicable edition of ASME SA182 / ASTM A182 and the purchase specification.

Sight Glass Frame Flange Design
