ASTM A358 CL1 TP316/316L is a high-performance EFW austenitic stainless steel pipe, double-welded with filler metal and 100% radiographed, intended for high-temperature and general corrosive service. The "TP316/316L" designation indicates a dual-grade material that meets the chemical requirements of both 316 (standard molybdenum-bearing grade) and 316L (low-carbon version). These stainless steel pipes are manufactured from rolled plates or sheets using an automatic welding process without the use of filler metal (Class 1) or with filler metal (other classes), followed by heat treatment and rigorous nondestructive testing. YUHONG GROUP specializes in ASTM A358 / ASME SA358 TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L, TP321, TP321H stainless steel ERW pipes for more than 30 years. Surface Finish: Most ASTM A358 TP316/316L stainless steel pipes are supplied with a pickled and passivated surface after heat treatment to remove weld scale and enhance corrosion resistance. For high-purity applications (food, pharma), mechanical polishing (e.g., 180-grit, 320-grit, or mirror finish) is available upon request.
